One well-credentialed source on self-defense law was held this week: the legal work is sound, the surrounding commentary is party politics, and this is not a political publication. Held sources are recorded by reason and never named.

Seeklander teaches the draw, the transition and recoil control as a measured progression with a pass mark, not a highlight reel. The instructor page states his background in full, which is the reason to read it. Check the credential before you buy anyone's drill book.

TCCC, rebuilt for someone alone with a casualty

The curriculum takes military TCCC principles — hemorrhage control, wound packing, chest seals — and reworks them for a civilian with no radio and no evacuation. The kit lists are that training made physical, and each choice is explained. Buy the skills before the pouch.

The on-ramp that makes a radio operationally useful

EC-001 teaches licensed amateurs to work inside the incident command system and support served agencies, which is the gap between owning a radio and being useful with one. Instructors must hold a documented license and FEMA coursework. This desk found no individual creator at our bar.
